Need a place to get away? Looking for lots of peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life? We at Horn’s Cabins, invite you to spend quiet hours on the private, no-wake Margaret Lake (Iron County) relaxing to the call of the loons.

Margaret Lake is spring-fed with plenty of good fishing for small and large mouth bass, perch, crappies, bluegills and walleye. Margaret Lake covers 34 acres and and has a maximum depth of 34 feet.

Each cabin has its own dock with row boat.    Both cabins are right on the lake (35 & 75 feet from waters edge). You have a view of the lake from every room in both cabins.

Horn’s Cabins resort is located on 8 acres of lakefront and woodlands. The ATV  trails run right to the front door of the cabins. ATV  maps are available from me or Mercer Chamber. The cool evenings are refreshing on those hot summer days. Be sure to bring sweatshirts and long pants for the evenings by the campfire.

Iron County has 200 lakes, including the Flambeau Flowage which feature northern pike, muskies and walleye fish. We are only 30 miles from the attractions of the Minoqua/Woodruff area, as well as 22 miles from Hurley and Ironwood, Michigan. Lake Superior is only 35 miles away.
